Beyond

As the clouds pour the rain

Coming down my very face

I leave it all up to fate

The ground shakes everyday

What more does the world have to say?

Do we not hear it calling our name?

So much more will come into play

The half crescent moon

Shines on through the shades

Beyond my inner thoughts

This is where I come to contemplate

Beyond my very self

I have found what might lie ahead

The experiences of this life

Adds up at quiet a price

This decayed infection

Needing to consume every soul

Will leave one quiet Banished

Wishing to go back and do more

As the clouds pour the rain

Coming down this very face

I now cry to my Lord

Grateful for another day

I'm grateful to realize

At moments so divine

My love to you all

Will live on and on
